An exclusive chocolate-making class with the first Arab Chocolatier at Boutique le Chocolat!

Lebanese-born chocolatier Hassan Salam gives a masterclass on his exclusive, bespoke range of chocolates

Boutique le Chocolat, the multi-brand home to some of the world’s most sought-after artesian handmade chocolates, invited media to attend Chocolatier Hassan Salam’s chocolate-making class at their concept store in City Walk.

Hassan is the first-ever Arab chocolatier to retail his collection at Boutique le Chocolat.

Hassan’s love for chocolate grew during his formative years working in luxury hotels

The flavours of Hassan’s chocolates evoke Middle Eastern roots and tastes. He uses premium Varlhona chocolate that is sourced directly from France, whereas the raw ingredients for each flavour come from the Middle East, India, and Northern Africa.

The unrivalled balance of taste in each delicious ganache is created through a highly-skilled process

Hassan’s chocolate-making process is delicate and intricate. He combines the exact measure of cream with raw ingredients for 24 hours before he gently combines the melted chocolate, which is then hand-poured into bespoke moulds.

By using this method, Hassan ensures the integrity of the natural ingredients remains throughout the flavouring process, resulting in the right balance of chocolate and flavour.

The distinctive decorative design gracing the top of each chocolate is hand-decorated with a pinch of natural food colouring blended with cocoa butter

Hasan’s chocolates are a mix of milk or dark chocolate that are complemented with the following flavours: Saffron, Coconut, Rahash, Lotus, Spice Ganache, Pistachio Ganache, Coffee, Orange Gianduja, Cardamom, and Ghazl Ibanat.

Chocolatier Hassan Salam’s chocolates are exclusively available at Boutique le Chocolate in City Walk 2.
The prices are: AED 55 for 10 chocolates per box, AED 105 for 20 chocolates per box
